In My Mailbox is a meme started by Kristi at The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie where we get to post about the books we receive each week through publishers/authors, our own purchases, contests won, and libraries.
The cute IMM button comes from Bewitched Bookworms.

Here's what I have from the library:
They all sound so good, and they look so pretty in person (a lot less yellow than my crappy photo). Now the only question is, can I read them all before they're due back?
What did you get in your mailbox (or on your library card or credit card)? Feel free to add your IMM links in your comments.

What a successful library trip you had! I've heard Forgive My Fins is really cute, I'm looking forward to that one. Dead Beautiful I enjoyed though it was a bit slow at times I thought. Looking forward your reviews of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info and for stopping by. I've heard the same about Forgive My Fins and I hope it's true. Good to know about Dead Beautiful's slow spots. Thanks! I should have the reviews up for each between now and next month.
ReplyDeleteFortive my Fins is really great - I absolutely lloved it. The other ones are all books I'm really looking forward to. I'm curious to see what you will think! Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week! I want to read Dead Beautiful and The Adoration of Jenna Fox. I've heard so many good things about that one! Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cover on The adoration of Jenna Fox. I'm going to have to jot some of these down, they look gooooood!!
ReplyDeleteCool, looking forward to see how our reviews of Wildwing compare to each other. If we liked/disliked the same/different things. btw, I can't imagine having to read this many books from the library in such a short time but you're proabably a much, much faster reader than I am.
ReplyDeleteOh great mailbox! I can't wait to read Dead Beautiful, too. Wish you so much fun with your new books and a nice sunday:)
ReplyDeleteHere is my Mailbox
And don't forget to check out my giveaway, ending on Nov 30th and open internationally, here!
Great mailbox! I really loved The Adoration of Jenna Fox. I thought Forgive My Fins was cute. I haven't read the others and will be interested to hear what you think of them. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am a new follower.
I love your mailbox this week! Congrats and happy reading :) Here's my mailbox this week
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteErica: I'm convinced on FMF. I think that's going to be my next read...or maybe the Adoration of Jenna Fox. Ah, I can't decide!
Gina: I like the cover, too. The paperback cover is nice (it's white with a girl's face broken into blue puzzle pieces), but I'm glad the library sent this copy.
Aylee: I'm looking forward to your review too! It'll be fun to compare them. When you put your review out, I'll add a link on mine if you want. Oh, and I'm really, really, really bad when it comes to taking out a bunch of books from the library. I have four more coming through inter-library loan! I have to buckle down and start reading these (and stop ordering more!)
Miss Page-Turner: Thanks for the info on your giveaway!
Kathy: Thanks for the follow! Glad to hear even more positive reviews for those two books. Now I just have to decide which to read next.
TheBookishSnob- Thanks for stopping by! I'm off to check out your mailbox. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and following! I'm off to check out your IMM!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I run into the same problem - the weeks get crazy and before I know, my books are due back - and usually, I can't renew because there is a hold on them! Good luck getting through them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! New follow!
-Linds, bibliophile brouhaha
Haha, exactly! I work in a library, so I *could* override those holds....but I feel too guilty to do that. I don't want to deprive fellow book lovers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and following!
It is nice to see others using the library but boy I thought my library was good. Yeah, not this good. A great set of books, You Wish has been on my TBR pile for a long while now. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm such a library junkie, your book pile looks great!
ReplyDeleteAlice: I am in love with my library system. My local library where I work is actually a tiny one room branch library, but we're connected with all of the libraries in the county (over fifty libraries!) and a lot of them are really terrific. If I ever move, one of the things I'll miss the most is my library system.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Anastacia!
Awesome mailbox! I want to read Forgive My Fins! Cloaked in Red looks really interesting, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Vivian Vande Velde is a really great author, so I'm looking forward to Cloaked in Red.
