Reviews to come on both of these, but I LOVED them both! Big, capital letters, can barely contain the awesome kinda love.

  1. Is it hard to get into the Master and Commander books? They seem intimidating.

  2. Good to know about Witchlanders; I got it from GalleyGrab but have a few other books to read before it. Glad you liked Master and Commander-I'm eagerly awaiting your review!

  4. I agree with Nic can't wait to hear about Witchlanders. I can get it through Galley Grab, but would have to read it on my Ipad. I want to know if its worth it or not.

  5. How was Master and Commander? I've been thinking about getting the book for my dad because he liked the movie.

And I still can get over how awesome the cover for Fairest of All is :)

  6. I still haven't started Witchlanders yet! I have one more book to go before I start it! You've got me excited!

You've had a great week, Chicky! You're someone to look up to!

  8. I didn't realize Master & Commander was part of a series. I'm really looking forward to that review!

  9. Alison, Yes, very hard. At least it was for me. The whole first 100 or so pages I was dying and I would have DNF-ed it if I hadn’t promised to stick with it. But I’m really glad I did because then all of a sudden it got awesome.

Bookworm1858, I hope enjoy Witchlanders! It’s very different from the blurb, but I liked it a whole lot. I’m not sure yet if I’ll put up a review for M&C or if I’ll wait and put up a review for the first few books. The second book is very different from the first and I’ve heard the third is also different. But there will be a review one way or another!

Nic, So, so good! But, it is very much a fantasy book. And there isn’t much romance at all. Hope you have a good weekend too :)

Gina, I think Witchlanders was definitely worth the download. I really liked her writing. It was 400 pages long, but I flew right through it without any lulls or boring spots. I wanted it to be longer!

Alex, I really liked Master and Commander! I HATED it in the beginning, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. Does your dad like Jane Austen’s style of writing? Because the writing style is very similar. I know, I adore that cover for Fairest of All!

Kristi, I hope you love Witchlanders as much as I did! I really, really hope she writes more. Aw, you’re so sweet!

Alyssa, The cover of Witchlanders is so pretty, but it really has very little to do with the actual story. The story is great though!

Logan, oh boy, it’s part of a TWENTY BOOK series! Gigantic.

  10. Thanks for commenting on my Kiss Marry Kill post! Haha, I was totally hoping there'd be at least one person who'd pick Professor Bhaer over Laurie. I think when I was younger I was more of a Laurie fan, but now I don't think he and Jo suit very well and he has a lot of growing up to do at the time he proposes to her. (You'd better get ready for an umbrella war though, because I will be there ready to duke it out for Professor Bhaer! :P)

On an unrelated note, did you get my e-mail? :)

  11. Danya, Yay! I’m so happy you see the potential of Professor Bhaer! I thought I’d be all alone, but he really seems like a wonderful man (and Gabriel Byrne is not terrible to look at, either). Haha, I will duke it out with you. En garde! I agree, Laurie was very immature. And yes, email replied :) (as you already know by now!)

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
