What's Your Status?

A meme created by Zakiya from Butterfly Feet Walking on Life where we recap our reading week. Feel free to visit her site and link up your own What's Your Status Posts. Here's how my week went:

Finished

Princess Ben by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan

(Click on the link to go to Goodreads)

Reviews to come on both of these. I didn't end up liking Princess Ben as much as I was hoping I would. Better than Wisdom's Kiss though, and I am glad I read it. I'm not totally sure how I feel about Glow yet, but it was absorbing, I'm still thinking about it, and I'm kind of agonizing over the wait for the sequel.

  2. Great week Small! Your review of Torrent reminds me - you may be happy to know that I ordered Waterfall off Book Depository the other day, so I can finally read this series that you seem to love so much! Can't wait to dive in.

  5. Glow sounds like one of those books that you finish and don't know whether you loved it or whether you wanted to throw it. ??? I have it on my shelf and was going to pick it up after Hourglass. I would love to hear your review because so many dystopians have been kinda letting me down.

  7. Nic, Very busy! I feel like I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I just wrote my review for Glow (try as I might, I couldn't make it short...I have a rambling disease!) and it will post on September 19th. :)

Belle, Yay!! I am so happy to know! Did you enter my giveaway? You could win the rest of the series! I think you're going to like those men ;)

Gina, I am so sorry to say but I did not enjoy Breadcrumbs. I think it's totally ME and not the book though. I'll hve my review up this month.

Alex, Aw, you are so sweet! I didn't like Breadcrumbs (*sob* I was sooo disappointed!), but I seem to be very much in the minority.

Jen, Ha, yes, that is a good description of Glow! The characters are all CRAZY, but I was so absorbed. Kind of like rubbernecking a really bad car accident.

Chelley, I ended up not liking Breadcrumbs, but I think it just wasn't the right book for ME.

It's all about friendly conversation here at Small Review :) I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Be sure to check back again because I do make every effort to reply to your comments here.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
