Have you signed up for this challenge? What books are you planning on reading? Do you have any suggestions that I absolutely MUST read?
Good luck with this one!!!
ReplyDeleteI always mean to try this but I'm always reluctant to try new authors at the same time :P
I did this challenge this year and I really enjoyed discovering new authors. There are some incredible 2012 debuts and though I'm not officially taking part this year I will definitely be reading some. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a lot of books in common on the debut author shelf. But there are quite a few on your shelf that I want to add to mine! LOL I think that's always the case when I see what you want to read!

Oh, hands down, this one was my FAV of the 2011 challenges. I loved reading debut new authors. It was really great many were available via netgalley, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out your GR shelf. Maybe I'll find something I like (well I know I will lol). Best of luck with this one. I'm will be participating along with you.
Good luck! I'd like to take up this challenge again. I didn't do very well with it the first time around. lol
ReplyDeleteI signed up for this one - I only did this challenge, the YA/MG Fantasy Challenge that I'm hosting and the YA Historical Fiction one. I can't wait for all the debuts next year :)
ReplyDeleteAlex, Thank you! I love trying new authors. I'm always hoping the next new author will be THAT author for me :)
ReplyDeleteAlice, Me too! 2012 looks like it is going to be an awesome year for debuts. I hope you get to read a bunch :)
Heather, That's good! This way we can recommend books to one another and get introduced to new books!
Gina, This was a really fun challenge in 2011. NetGalley is fantastic for reading debuts, I agree. Hehe I hope you find a lot on my shelf! Good luck to you too!
Julie, Thanks! Good luck in 2012 :D
Erica, I can't wait to see the books you read for those challenges! I love your taste in books and I've signed up for all of those challenges too.
