8. Duchessina by Carolyn Meyer
7. The Black Cauldron by Lloyd Alexander
6. Red Glove by Holly Black
5. White Cat by Holly Black

3. Incarceron by Catherine Fisher
2. The Prophecy by Hilari Bell
1. Illyria by Elizabeth Hand

Have you signed up for this challenge? What books are you planning on reading?

  1. I am hoping one of the libraries in the ILL system gets the new Templar Knight mystery by Maureen Ash. I checked recently to find it not available yet.

I have a long list of books written down that I would like to read at some point, but I'm not sure of anything specific that I am hoping to accomplish for this challenge.

  2. My Google Reader just blew up with all the challenges you're doing this coming year! I am not sure I'll do any...I think my goal this year is to simply read at least two books a month. That's simple enough for me! Merry Christmas!

  3. Bookish Hobbit, Hehe I can just picture you checking back at the library website to see if they have the book in yet :P I do the same thing!

Book Geek, Ha! Sorry about exploding your GR! (and there's more to come) :P That is a great goal. Good luck! Merry Christmas to you too!

  5. Gina, The digital library you use sounds so awesome! Ours looks decent, but I haven't tried it yet.

  7. Totally doable :) I don't think there can be too many library challenges, but I may be biased. You know, working in a library and all :P

  8. @Small - Give the digital library a try. I was shocked to see how many newly released books I scored this year. My library allows me to do audio books and also read books on my kindle. I like that because on my kindle I use the text-to-speech function to listen while commuting to work. I have a very long drive. The library I'm associated with works in conjunction with Library2go.com. I also use ebook fling on my kindle to get books loaned to me too.

  9. I definitely will, once I get an e-reader. Until then I have more than enough e-books through NetGalley. I try to keep them to a minimum because reading on my computer is not ideal. When I do get an e-reader (someday!) I'm going straight to you for all the e-book sources :)

It's all about friendly conversation here at Small Review :) I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Be sure to check back again because I do make every effort to reply to your comments here.

Because I am absolutely terrible about following through with blog awards, I can't in good conscience accept any more. Thank you very much for thinking of me though!
